2005 Christmas Party

This years Christmas party is on Saturday, 3rd December at 7.30pm. The Venue is Oppo Harmonic Fusion on Park Street Avenue next to Tootsies restaurant. The cost is £15 per person and will include a hot fork buffet and drinks - including alcohol!

Partners are more than welcome. Team captains and coaches will be selling tickets so bring some money to training. For more information contact the club Social Secretary, Edmund Buston.

2005/2006 Annual General Meeting

This year's AGM will be held at The Portcullis pub in Fishponds at 19:30 on Thursday, 15th of September. All club members are encouraged to attend.

Success at the 2005 Southwest Championships

The City of Bristol Volleyball Club celebrated a huge success at this year's Southwest Championships (Weymouth, May 15th and 16th). Our two Men's teams finished first and second while our women's team placed second. More details on the end of the club's first season can be found in the news section.

International Volleyball Comes to England

Great news for volleyball in England! Both England Men and Women will take part in the 2006 World Championship Qualifiers (WCQ) in January 2005. Not only will our teams compete in WCQ, but England will host both the men and women's WCQ tournaments. This will be in Sheffield from 12 - 16 January 2005.
