Annual General Meeting

I would like to invite you to this years club AGM. It will take place in the same venue as last year at Oppos near the top of Park Street on the 9th July 2008 at 19.30. It would appear that we are due to have some major changes for the 2008/9 season with long time members stepping down or taking a rest. For the club to function effectively we need some members to pick up some of these roles or even part of.
Gary Burton has decided to not be involved after this year, he will be a great loss having been involved in every aspect of playing, coaching and managing for the last 20 years with Whitefield and City of Bristol. I'm sure we all wish him well and very best wishes for the future.

Ivor Paul has also decided to take a well earned rest for a year and not coach the Mens 2nd team next season. We do hope to see him back the year after.

Steffen Paessler will also step down from his role as Club development officer but keep the role of Junior development officer.

Rachael Corns will continue as Womens secretary but will relinquish her role as Child Protection Officer. Rach will need that time to play, be secretary and look after her daughter.

As you can see these are major changes and help is needed to keep these roles running smoothly. If you would like to volunteer to help then please contact myself or any other committee member to find out what is involved.
